There are more than 4,000 youth in foster care in the Sacramento area. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to bring awareness and support to the mental health needs of youth in foster care and other vulnerable children. Each year we fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for policies that support people with mental illness and their families.

  • Unrestricted funding is especially helpful, as it allows us to direct your support where it’s most needed and can have the most impact.
  • Support for the Wonder Mentoring Program is vital. Wonder recruits and trains adult volunteers to serve as mentors to local youth in foster care. It is a critical program helping up to 70 kids each year. This program’s funding relies on the generosity of the community.
  • We also ask that you open your heart and home to a youth in foster care. We need safe, loving families for local children in foster care.

A special thank you to Modern Woodmen for providing matching funds and helping us raise much needed mental health resources for local youth!
