Yuri Kimura
Program Director, Pathways to Permanency
Yuri began her tenure with the organization in 2007 as a Social Worker in the Foster Care Program. She has over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in various settings. Yuri also served as the Clinical Program Manager for the Foster Care Program and later, the Juvenile Justice and Crime Prevention Program prior to her current leadership role.
Yuri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, and a B.A. in Human Development and Social Relations from Earlham College. Yuri also holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work.
Yuri is passionate about the Stanford Sierra Youth & Families’ mission because she believes that every youth should have permanent connections with family. Yuri is honored to work alongside colleagues who live the mission, vision, and values of the organization and do whatever it takes to support youth and families. In her spare time, Yuri enjoys running marathons, taiko drumming, and stand up paddle boarding.
