Ontson Placide Chief Program Officer

Ontson joins Stanford Sierra Youth & Families as the Chief Program Officer (CPO). He brings over 30 years of experience in Mental Health and Social Services, including program development, administrative systems development, and financial and quality assurance development. Ontson has been at the forefront of the creation of many innovative youth and family programs. Ontson served as the Administrator for one of the country’s largest Wraparound programs.

Ontson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University. His career has been dedicated to empowering youth, adults, and families that have previously been either un-served or under-served through innovative programming.

Outside of work, Ontson is a dedicated husband and father to two young adults. He is an avid photographer and loves sports. Not only does he play sports, but he has coached various sports over the years. He also loves music and played the drums in his high school jazz band.
