Lifelong permanency is at the heart of Stanford Sierra Youth & Families and we work to establish and maintain stable and permanent families through our Family Preservation services. An overview of our Family Preservation program is as follows:
- Families are referred and or authorized through Nevada County Children’s Behavioral Health.
- Once a client is authorized, the client and family complete an assessment with the Clinician, who develops a treatment plan to identify goals for client and caregivers.
- The Clinician will provide individual and/or family therapy, and a Family Support
Specialist (FSS) will provide parent education and parent/family support services.
