Sabrina Pistone
Program Director: FIT Citrus Heights
Sabrina Pistone joined Stanford Sierra Youth & Families (SSYAF) in 2016 as a Therapist in the Family Integrated Treatment (FIT) program. Her dedication to supporting youth and families led her to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), after which she was promoted to Clinical Program Manager of FIT. In 2023, Sabrina advanced to Clinical Practice Manager and later that same year, she was named Associate Program Director of FIT. In 2025, she assumed her current role as Director of Programs for the FIT Citrus Heights site.
Sabrina is deeply passionate about serving youth and families, and she brings a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to her leadership. She believes in the power of resiliency and is committed to empowering families to work together to overcome challenges, heal, and thrive. Her work is grounded in the belief that every family has the capacity for growth and transformation when given the right support and tools.
Sabrina holds a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego and is trained in Cue Centered Therapy (CCT), a trauma treatment model designed to help youth process and recover from traumatic experiences. Outside of her professional life, Sabrina enjoys long-distance running, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors with her husband and three sons.
