Why Are Gift Cards Important?

Gift cards are the best way to help our community’s youth and families meet their basic needs during an already financially challenging economy and during the holiday season, when expenses rise. Our families’ health and safety are our utmost concern, and with gift cards we help families make healthy choices so that basic needs are met. When families create their own holiday traditions and memories, by cooking holiday meals together, buying and wrapping gifts, they are strengthening their relationships – which is exactly what the holidays are about!

How Many Children Need Support?

Stanford Youth Solutions is serving approximately 300 children and their families at any one time. At least 95% of the families we serve are at or below poverty level.

When Will I receive Gift Tags for My Gift Drive?

Gift tags will be mailed to you within 24 hours after you sign up.

When are Donations Needed By?

We are accepting gift cards, practical items or tickets for all other youth and families through December 16.

Can I Give Wrapped Presents?

We must provide unwrapped gifts to the youth and families we serve. This helps ensure that families are aware of the gifts their children will receive, and to help us determine age appropriateness for each gift. If you would like to donate new holiday gift wrap along with a gift, we will gladly share it with our families so they can wrap the gifts.

Do you accept gently used toys?

We greatly appreciate when community members wish to help our clients and families by sharing gently used toys or other items; however, we believe in giving the youth and families in our care our very best. We do this through our innovative, proven programs and our goal is to provide practical resources that also reflect our committment to their success.
