Tonya Bauhofer
Executive Director of Programs
Tonya Bauhofer joined Stanford Sierra Youth & Families in 2016 to develop the School-Based Services Program. Since then, she has taken on leadership of several key initiatives, including Juvenile Justice Intervention Services, Kaiser Managed Care, and Wraparound programs. In her current role as Executive Director of Programs, Tonya oversees these programs along with the expansion of Wraparound services to include AAP/Community Wraparound and Placer County Intensive Services.
She also leads the growth of Juvenile Justice programs to encompass prevention services, including Functional Family Therapy and Wraparound. Her oversight includes Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) for Sacramento County and the SUPT program, RYSE Above, which supports youth in Sacramento County.
Tonya is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a clinical background in treating children with severe emotional disturbances. Prior to entering the field professionally, she developed a behavioral learning home program for her autistic son. This personal experience fuels her strong advocacy for youth with learning and developmental disabilities. She believes that helping families resolve behavioral challenges enhances a youth’s ability to learn, grow, and build positive relationships within their communities.
