Why should I join Post Adoption Support Services?
We offer many avenues of support! Whether you’d like to only receive updates from our newsletter to keep up on news in the adoption world, or engage in more intensive case management as you navigate new resources and supports, we are here to help in every step of the journey.

Can my child access mental health services after adoption?
Yes, every child has access to mental health services post-adoption. Typically, mental health services are funded through either the Adoption Assistance Program (AAP) or through Medi-Cal.
Are there support groups for adoptive parents?
Yes, we offer bi-weekly support groups and welcome all foster and adoptive parents to join and build community with others. Click here to learn more.
Can I access respite support?
Yes, we welcome all families enrolled in our PALS program to join us in our Youth Social Club events. These respite days are offered every six weeks and occur on a Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Keep an eye out in our newsletter for updates on newly scheduled respite events!
