Melissa Bass is the Sr. Director of Client Management Operations at VSP Vision Care where she provides strategic direction and oversight of client operations. She is passionate about optimizing processes and has successfully led multiple re-organizations and system implementations to improve business functions and employee enablement. Melissa is a continuous learner and has participated in numerous leadership development programs, and she takes pride in developing and empowering her team to help them realize their potential.

Melissa joined the board of SSYAF because she believes every child should have an opportunity to reach their potential. She hopes to make a positive impact in the community by utilizing her leadership skills and experience to help fulfill the mission of building connections and empowering families. 

Melissa is a wife and mother to two incredible sons. In her free time, she enjoys watching her boys play sports, traveling, and relaxing with family and friends.
