Pre and Post Adoption Services

Adoption is a lifelong journey and Stanford Sierra Youth & Families (SSYAF) provides families with the supports they need to be successful. We have two Post Adoption Specialists on our team to support families as needs come up. We also offer a Post Adoption Support Group twice a month.

Post Adoption Services include:

• Trainings centered on adoption-related topics
• Monthly support groups
• Referrals and linkages to community resources
• Support with understanding the Adoption Assistance Program (AAP) and filling out county/state forms
• Therapeutic referrals
• Individualized support regarding adoption-related topics
